2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. The Service

Palate Palace lets you discover, create, and organize recipes; plan meals; manage a pantry and grocery lists; participate in a cooking community; and access general culinary and pet-nutrition information. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service over time.

4. User Content

“User Content” means anything you submit, including recipes, notes, ratings, reviews, community posts and comments, images, meal plans, and pet profiles.

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant Palate Palace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your public recipes to other users).
• You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe others’ rights.

5. Acceptable Use and Community Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or infringing.
• Upload content you do not have permission to share, including copyrighted images or text.
• Spam, scrape, or use automated means to access the Service in a manner that burdens our systems.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Misuse community features, impersonate others, or manipulate ratings and reviews.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or our community standards.

6. AI-Assisted Features

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or transform content, such as recipes, meal plans, recipe parsing, and assistant chat. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for general informational purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content — including ingredients, quantities, cooking times, and especially allergen and dietary information — before relying on it. 7. Food, Health, and Pet-Nutrition Disclaimer

Recipes, nutrition figures, and pet-nutrition information on the Service are provided for general informational purposes only and are not professional dietary, medical, or veterinary advice. Please review our full Disclaimer and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Palate Palace and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for your User Content, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
