Content Standards
Every piece of curated content on Palate Palace is held to the same standards. This page describes what those standards are.
Last updated: August 29, 2026
Accuracy and clarity
Instructions must be clear, complete, and logically ordered so a home cook can follow them with confidence. Ingredient lists must match the steps, quantities must be specified, and techniques should be explained or linked to a relevant guide where helpful.
Allergen and dietary labeling
Where information is available, recipes carry consistent allergen and dietary tags so that search filters behave predictably and readers with dietary needs can rely on them. Labeling follows a consistent, canonical set of categories. Labels describe ingredients as written and are not a substitute for reading full ingredient lists or consulting a professional about specific allergies.
Nutrition information
Nutrition figures are estimates derived from standard ingredient references and typical serving sizes. They are provided to help with everyday planning, not as precise or medical values. Actual nutrition varies with brands, substitutions, and portioning.
Inclusive and respectful writing
We write about the world’s cuisines with respect for their history, culture, and regional variation. We avoid stereotyping, we describe dishes accurately, and we aim for language that welcomes cooks of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Use of AI
Some content is drafted or structured with AI assistance and then reviewed by the editorial team. We disclose where AI is involved in our AI Transparency statement, and AI-assisted content is held to the same standards as everything else we publish.
Community content
Content submitted by members of the community is theirs and is guided by standards that keep the space welcoming and helpful. Curated, editorially owned content is clearly the responsibility of the Palate Palace Kitchen.
